I was hired by Bloomberg as a web producer to help support their team launch their 2021 Bloomberg Philanthropies Annual Report and develop pages for their professional services redesign
MY ROLE
The Web Producer role involves being a jack of all trades when it comes to understanding UX, copywriting, and web best practices. This is accomplished by utilizing creative and technical skills, providing proper support and maintenance, as well as closely working with product managers, designers, developers, and other specialists as a unified team. I was interested in this role to experience working in an organization as large as Bloomberg.
- Work with marketing managers, project managers, designers, web development teams and other stakeholders to update and maintain the content across multiple web properties
- Assist product managers with the product backlog, closely partner with the business and the team to ensure everyone understands the work items, interpret requests into Jira issues with definition of completion/success
- Own the workflow process for digital marketing campaigns, including; creation, QA and deployment
- Test and review completed web engineering requests in a QA environment before signing off for deployment
- Troubleshoot platform issues and solve them with the help of web developers and extended Digital Marketing team

- Provide ad hoc and regular reports to stakeholders using Google Analytics
- Test marketing campaign elements and interactions for continual improvements and optimization
